CLOUDWATCHER	While many of my friends in UK and USA are freezing and wishing for an early Spring, I am sitting here sweltering. Even with two fans going full speed, the water (perspiration) is dripping down my neck from my hair and my clothes are stuck to me. Storms threaten but come to nothing, so the humidity remains 80-90%. Wouldn’t it be great if we could exchange just some of our weather and we’d all be in ideal climates? We can’t exchange weather but we can exchange greetings, so I’m wishing you a very happy and fulfilling week ahead. Here’s some good advice from Mr Anonymous: ¶ What we see depends mainly on what we look for. ¶ Not everything that counts can be counted - and not everything that can be counted, counts. ¶ The person that loses his conscience has nothing left worth keeping. ¶ If I never had a bad day, how would I know when I was having a good day? CLOUDWATCHER	Time flies! Looking at the calendar I see I have only three weeks to finish preparations for the next holiday club: a big ask, but I know it will be done. While many of my friends are approaching winter, we are one week away from the official start of summer. Earlier it seemed we would have a cooler summer this year, but recent storms have brought some very high humidity which really saps the energy. I bought a steam cleaner which I’m wanting to try out, but the thought of using steam in this weather does not appeal. It can wait. A few thoughts about time: ¶ The bad news is time flies. The good news is you're the pilot ¶ They say that time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself ¶ There is never enough time to do everything, but there is always enough time to do the most important thing ¶ The future is something which everyone reaches at the rate of sixty minutes an hour, whatever he does, whoever he is Take care. CLOUDWATCHER	I find it hard to believe that it is two weeks since my last general comment to friends. I am sorry. I have tried to log in most days, just to reply to friends’comments and blogs, but my work keeps increasing. I have now completed the 56 page A4 book of teenage lessons and it is printed and bound, but there are four more on the list, plus a number of other projects, so I’m afraid my time on yuwie is going to remain limited. I love some of the Fall pages I’ve seen. We don’t get the coloured leaves here in the sub tropics, as almost all our trees are evergreen. It is Spring here now and my Gazanias greet me with big smiles every day. A few random thoughts: ¶ Faithfulness in little things is a great thing ¶ In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity ¶ If you think you can, you can. And if you think you can't, you're right ¶ No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. Never give it! Happy yuwie-ing!

CLOUDWATCHER	I returned from the Holiday Club at Caboolture this morning, very tired but satisfied with the week. After a late night and only three hours sleep, I had to drop someone at the railway station at 4.30am and then drive for four hours. I unloaded the car but haven’t faced unpacking yet. I am very tired and I’m ready for an almost-unheard-of early night tonight. A few thoughts about sleep: ¶ The amount of sleep required by the average person is five minutes more ¶ A good laugh and a long sleep are the best cures in the doctor's book ¶ Nothing cures insomnia like the realization that it's time to get up ¶ Don't fight with the pillow, but lay down your head and kick every worriment out of the bed ¶ Early to rise and early to bed makes a man healthy and wealthy and dead Hopefully after a good sleep tonight I’ll feel more like myself and less like a zombie. I hope you are enjoying your weekend. Happy yuwie-ing!

CLOUDWATCHER	I have been busy for a few weeks writing a complete program for a 5 day holiday club. I have now completed my preparations and am ready to leave on Saturday, apart from my personal packing. Yesterday I made a double check of everything and I am convinced I am as prepared as possible. A few thoughts about being prepared: ¶ By failing to prepare you are preparing to fail ¶ To be prepared is half the victory ¶ The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today ¶ Todays preparation determines tomorrow's achievement ¶ For every minute spent in preparation, an hour is earned. ¶ Despair is most often the offspring of no preparation I am hoping to have a bit more time when I return from Caboolture, but if the trend continues, more projects will arrive just as I start to see a bit of a clear patch. I am not complaining. I love my work, but I do miss spending time here with friends. The weekend is near. Have a great one!

CLOUDWATCHER	Today is the first day of Spring here in sunny Queensland, where the weather is “beautiful one day: perfect the next” according to the advertising. I mostly agree with that, except during the hot, steamy, humid days of summer, when I can never get comfortable or dry - but this is where I live and I wouldn't choose to live anywhere else. Since it is Spring I must find time to get out and plant some Gazanias this week. I know half of the world isn’t rejoicing at Spring’s arrival, but a few thoughts about Spring: ¶ Spring is nature’s way of saying, “Let's party!” ¶ Spring prepares her green traffic light and the world thinks “Go” ¶ Spring unlocks the flowers to paint the laughing soil ¶ An optimist is the human personification of spring ¶ Spring has returned. CLOUDWATCHER	I was able to get so much work completed on Saturday that I am now way ahead of schedule - or at least I WAS before I received a phone call with more urgent work. Just as well I enjoy being busy! At least I can take a little time off to greet my yuwie friends. If I bring some coffee and cake, can we sit and natter for a bit? I’d love to hear what you have been doing lately. Here the official start to Spring is exactly one week away, but apart from a few odd days, we haven’t really had much winter this year. A few questions for you: ¶ Why do they call it 'common sense' when it's so rare? ¶ Why can't they make the whole plane out of the same substance as the indestructible little black box? ¶ Why do we put suits in a Garment Bag, and put garments in a Suitcase? ¶ How did a fool and his money get together to start with? ¶ Want to Make $$$$ with your Computer? CLOUDWATCHER	Where have the last two weeks gone? I know I’ve been busy and have done a lot of work, but time flies so quickly. I’ve read and responded to friend’s blogs but haven’t had time for much else here. I had 1GB Ram and a new power supply added to my computer this week and hope it helps me to get more done in a day. I am enjoying the cooler weather and the luxury of wearing a jumper. I love winter clothing but hardly get a chance to wear it. I also love winter food and hot puddings, but find them impossible in the humid summer. I hope you have been enjoying life, responding positively to challenges and finding satisfaction in accomplishments. ¶ Challenges are what make life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful ¶ Anything unattempted remains impossible ¶ Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go ¶ Accept challenges, so that you may feel the exhilaration of victory Have a great week!
