 Zara's Daily Yuwie Blog
I look at things that interest me on the Internet - mainly home business stuff and ebooks - I like small items that don't cost much - like a box of curios !
Evening all from UK - hard drive failure AGAIN

Just a quick blog before bed.

Firstly long time no chat - I will have to get that link to yuwie on my browser  again.

My hard drive fail since the last time I was here - eeek! - it was the back up hard drive - goes to show - keep all your back ups on CD too - I'm gonna have to see if my local PC man can extract anything from two drives now.

Apart from that - I am lucky in the idea of cloud computing - i.e alot of my photos are on facebook, myspace and other social networks and image places like flickr.

They say it's not a matter of if your hard drive will fail it's when! - this is true

So big tip - get your stuff in a file and back up to disk or stick

How to focus on a niche

Hi folks

I've decided I'm going to start adding posts from one of my other blogs here as an example of focusing on a niche.

I've been focusing on the Coffee Niche for the last 3 months and it appears that coffee has been on an upward trend on the stock exchange with profits with coffee companies roaring dispite the recession - so I will be adding some of my blog posts from my  "I love Gano" I'm also planing on redesigning my GDI website soon towards the coffee niche.

If you are a coffee expert - or you are looking for one - don't forget to visit my coffee venue here on Yuwie - that is a kind of coffee and chat meeting zone.

So if you are interested in coffee - as you love to drink it or you love to sell it (or both)

Come and join my coffee venue on Yuwie

What do you do ?

Don't you just hate that question ?!

Personally, NOW, I have settled on a niche that is easily recognisable as a main niche, and that is COFFEE - so I sell coffee, that is my thing, what I do, I am learning, having trawled up and down the Internet all these years looking and learning - in the end you have to focus on something simple - make money with it and then build on it/ clone it - do whatever you do with it BUT - you have to focus first on making a revenue stream, as if you are making money, it shuts up the critics and leaves you to get on with what you do!

3 cash machine is back!

Yeay! I'm glad they got it sorted out with google, I like this little marketing machine.  I'm sending this out as a blogwide update as it means I will probabley be adding 3CM back to the healthy coffee downline builder - I will add it as an exta program this time and keep global domains there too as a separate opportunity:

the e-mail from Dan - incase you missed it:

I write to you with great news... The 3 Cash Machine has been re-launched!

Google has finally lifted the 'Attack Site' warning and we've got the site
back up and running. And it's going to be better then ever!

During the time that the 3CM was down, we've gone through the site with
a fine tooth comb and fixed a number of scr i pting issues. In particular,
an issue that prevented a small number of people from signing up. So the
sign up numbers should shoot through the roof this summer!!

As we have not been monitoring the support desk during the down time... our
mailbox has filled up with over 15,000 emails. A lot of this is spam. So
we're decided to delete all of these emails and start from scratch. Soooo...
If you sent a support related email to us over the past 2 weeks, please go
to your 'Sent Messages', find the email and resend it.

I've been totally blown away by the response of the 3CM members over this
past two weeks. I'm so very proud of you all!! Your letters of luck and
encouragement have been a true inspiration. Thank you to all of you that
wrote strong worded letters to Google. It just goes to show what strength
in numbers can achieve.

Finally - It was the 3CM's 1st birthday on Sunday (2 days ago)! We didn't
think there was very much to celebrate on Sunday... But now we feel like a
PARTY!! So to thank you for all your hard work over the past year, I'm
going to send you a couple of presents tomorrow... so keep your eye out for
that!

Thank you for your patience and humility.
I wish you a profitable new 3CM year! :)
Kind Regards,

Dan Weaver

Thanks Dan - Update from Dan Weaver

Hi thought I'd just let you know, if you haven't read that Dan Weaver's 3 Cash Machine is indeed gone for the time being, it sounds to me (reading between the lines as I often do) that some one, or a competitor has "stiched him up" as we say in UK - i.e somebody has dobbed his website into google so they somehow mange to completely block just about anyone from getting into it - I've never heard of google doing a denial of service attack before on a website just because it has a scr i pt error!?????????!, as it's normally something hackers do - so if it isn't really google but someone blackmailing them - then I guess they succeeeded pretty well as I sure as hell can't get into my account through firefox or IE, which mean's the IP or domain must have some kind of 'hook' / redirect on it that bypasses the website hosting provider and domain provider etc. - which is crazy - anyway it's gone for the forseeable future.

I just want to thank Dan for having the curtesy to e-mail us members and let us know.  I will be joining up to the next version - as the system was a good one - but if  "unknown forces" decide to screw over your website, there is little a webmaster can do about it, I just want to say that having used the system, I personally found nothing wrong with it, I've used alot of systems over the 8 years I've been on-line, and this one followed the same steps that many marketing system follow, so why it got singled out for attack by google is beyond me - which is why I can only suspect rivalry of some sort, that we are not privy to.

The E-mail:

We regret to inform you that a decision has been made to
temporarily close the 3CM.

As you may or may not know, Google flagged the3cashmachine.com
as an 'attack site' on the 29th of June 2009 (two weeks ago).
Since this date we have carried out a number of comprehensive
reviews on both the website and its database and No malicious
coding was found. We then took the steps to upload a fresh
version of the site and carried out a number of tests. Once we
were satisfied we then submitted the site to Google for a re-review...

The Review is Still Pending!

We have tried on several occasions to contact Google for support.
BUT it's nearly impossible to talk to a 'real person' at Google.
They seem very reluctant to publish any type of contact details
on their site.

We was finally able to find a telephone number on a directory
site, but this only took me to an automated telephone service.
We've carried out some research on a couple of webmaster forums
and the general opinion of Google is... you have to wait... and wait...
until that THEY deicide to look at your site again. This could
take a week or it could take several months...

there's no guarantee with Google.

And so we have been left with a dilemma... Should the 3CM stay open?

We are still receiving members (as some people are still able
to access the site)... But the daily sign ups have dropped by
almost 90%. This means that those people that HAVE been able
to join and set up their systems (and the people that are still
actively promoting the system) will be wasting time, energy and
money. With just over 10% of internet users able to access the
site, the chances of making your 3CM system work are very small.

So we feel morally obliged to tell our members to stop promoting
the 3CM. Our hands are tied and our only option is to be patient,
while we wait for Google to respond.

We suggest that you take the necessary steps needed to ensure
that you don't lose any money during the down time. Some of
you may have GDI accounts that have less then 10 members, so
you may wish to close these accounts. All 'paid' advertising
should be canceled immediately. The signup page will be replaced
with a temporary information page within the next 24 hours.
This will include a form, which will allow visitors to opt in
to receive a re-launch notification email. If any of these
visitors arrive via your referral link, they will still be
logged as one of your referrals.

The support desk will also be closed until further notice.

We will keep you up to date on any progress via the 3CM
newsletter. We will still send out the odd promotional email.
This is how we fund the 3CM and your support is greatly
appreciated during these times of crisis.

May I take this opportunity to offer you my sincerest apologies.
I realize that there will be many people that have lost out in
one way or another due to this incident. And I can't apologies
enough. There are some cruel people in this world, that don't
think about the people they harm, when committing internet
crime.

I truly hope that we are able to re-launch the 3CM very soon.
I would like to thank everyone for their continued commitment,
hard work and support over the past year. And this will hopefully
continue for many years to come.
We will be in contact shortly,
Yours Sincerely,

Dan and the 3CM Team

comments back and goodbye 3 cash machine

hi folks, firstly I've added the comments box back to my profile page and the template seems to be working okay now - so feel free to come and leave me a comment.

Secondly - I've not heard anything from Dan Weaver and my 3 cash machine site - so I am moving on, if anyone know where Dan is or what REALLY happened do let me know - or not - people fall in and out of this business all the time - he might have run off to a desert Island - have a well paid regular job (like working for the CIA or something ?!)

Anyway, whatever has happened to him, I wish him the best.

I'm still focusing alot on my new Niche of Coffee, I have a blue print infront of me now and finances are tight - I sometimes feel I am losing the will to live at times to be honest, but I'll keep on going as working on-line is the only viable solution I have - so I will keep at it until I drop dead if I have to, as I have no other options.

Anyway I hope all you guys are surving okay, next time we speak lets hope I can be a little more positive - do or die innit...

oh before I forget - I will continue to support any referrals that come through the 3CM system, i.e via yuwie, GDI and the traffic exchanges, I just won't personally be using the 3CM system or promoting it - until it is fixed - but based on this delay - it is looking to me like it ain't comming back.
